TVLogic, the world-leading broadcast and professional display manufacturer, unveils a new 7-inch field production monitor (F-7H) with maximum luminance of 3,600nit and a range of professional features including HDR emulation.
The F-7H is a 7-inch Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080) production monitor with ultra-high luminance of 3,600nit. This top of the industry luminance level enables camera crews to shoot with clear and sharp picture quality under extremely bright sunshine without a monitor hood. The F-7H provides SDI <-> HDMI cross conversion with 1 SDI input, 1 SDI output, 1 HDMI input and 1 HDMI output interfaces. It also supports all the professional features such as Waveform & Vectorscope, Audio Level Meters, Focus Assist, Range Error, Time Code Display, various Aspect Ratio and Markers, 3D LUT import, Camera Logs and HDR emulation including HDR EOTFs for PQ, HLG and SLog3.
Utilizing a solid and light milled aluminium chassis, the F-7H weighs only 760g. The slim, all-in-one design allows for multiple conﬁgurations with threaded holes on the right, left, top and bottom sides for ﬂexible mounting options on or near the camera. Power is supplied via a DC connector or via various battery-mounting plates that can connect directly to the back of the monitor. A hard-coated filter panel is used to protect the LCD screen from stains and scratches. The menu key and scroll wheel button on the top of the case for easy control. There are also 3 function buttons are placed on the top for fast access to frequently used functions. A USB port for firmware updates and colour calibration is fitted to the bottom of the monitor.
TVLogic will introduce two new top QC-grade monitors, the LVM-171S (17-inch) and LVM-241S (24-inch). Both these TVLogic models feature an IPS LCD panel with Full HD resolution, wide-gamut reproduction (up to DCI-P3) enhanced contrast ratio and wide viewing angle all unmatched by other LCD monitors. The LVM-171S and LVM-241S provide HDR emulation, with HDR EOTFs for PQ, HLG and SLog3, as well as support for 3D LUTs and various cinema camera log-to-linear LUTs, easy field upgradability and a full array of image processing features are standard.
